Final Project - Cinemagraph
Week 11- Week 15
For our final project, we have to create a cinemagraph, which is a combination of photograph and cinematography, of a surreal image/painting. Even though Mr Hafiz told us that it would be easier to find a surrealistic painting and work based on it like what we did in Project 1, I thought I wanted to create a more "me" type of surreal photo and work based on that.
In order to have a better idea on how to create a cinemagraph with Adobe Photoshop, I searched on YouTube for tutorials.
These two videos helped me a lot in order to understand how to create a cinemagraph. As I have issues in using Adobe After Effects, I decided to do the whole thing in Adobe Photoshop.
For the composition of my surreal photo, I was inspired by a Photoshop Surrealism tutorial in YouTube.
I wanted to create a composition that feels like mother nature and have a waterfall flowing from the girl's head, like it's part of her hair. After having an idea of what to do, I began to search for stock images and videos.

After I gather my elements, I began to put my composition together.

I experimented around with filters, hue and saturation and others to create the composition. After I finished composing the elements, I went to work on the videos so that they can loop seamlessly without having too much difference between the first frame and the last frame, so that they can connect perfectly.
